Saturday 10th September is World Suicide Prevention Day and to mark the day Running Space held a Midnight to Midnight Relay and some of Bexhill team went along to join them and show our support for this amazing charity.

On World Suicide Prevention Day every year, organisations and communities around the world come together to raise awareness of how we can create a world where fewer people die by suicide which is at the very heart of what Running Space do every single day.

They started at Midnight on Friday 9th September and walked or ran 24 loops around Sidley with each lap beginning on the hour, every hour for 24 hours.

Running Space is a local charity very close to our hearts. They provide a service where they bring people together of all fitness levels where they can walk or run shoulder to shoulder in a safe, friendly environment where they can open up about their thoughts and feelings with people who can understand how they are feeling. They also work to educate and train communities to help people recognise and support those with suicidal thoughts.

This really is a fantastic organisation run by and incredible group of people.
