Step 1 – Valuation
Whether you’re a first-time landlord or an experienced investor, Oakfield is here to support you. Our goal is to help you get the most from your investment with confidence and ease.
Step 2 – Marketing details
We will take professional photos of your property and create a detailed floorplan, giving potential tenants a clear view before they even step inside. Our marketing is designed to showcase your property at its very best, reaching the right audience quickly and effectively. At the same time, we’ll guide you through all the compliance requirements needed for a smooth and successful let.
Step 3 – Viewings
Before scheduling a viewing with any applicant, we ask them to complete a detailed application form and carefully review the full property information we provide. This allows us to assess their suitability and ensure they fully understand the property’s features and requirements. By doing this, we can confidently invite only the most qualified and genuinely interested tenants to view your home, saving you time and reducing unnecessary visits.
Step 4 – Accepting a Tenant
We often receive multiple applications for a property, and when this happens, we carefully review each one and gather all the relevant details, including references and financial checks. We then present this information clearly, so you can make an informed decision on who to let your property to. Step 5 – Tenancy Progression

This includes credit checks, income verification, employment references, and landlord references where applicable. After completing these checks, we’ll promptly share the results with you to ensure you’re confident and happy to proceed.
Step 6 – Tenants move in day
Once all tenancy agreements are signed and the required compliance certificates have been provided to the tenant, we will visit the property for a pre-move-in inspection to ensure everything is ready. This helps make the move-in process as smooth and stress-free as possible for everyone involved.
