Today marks the start of Safe Agent Awareness Week.
The event runs from 21st – 25th May 2018 and is to raise awareness for Landlords and Tenants to ensure they use a Managing Agent who is registered with a recognised Client Money Protection Scheme. The law is changing and from April 2019 and from then it will be mandatory that all Managing Agents are registered with a Client Money Protection Scheme until then there is nothing in place to protect Landlords and Tenants and ensure their money is safe. Safe Agent are awareness week is designed to highlight the importance of choosing the right agent and choosing one you know your money will be safe with.
