Dane Road is located in St Leonards on Sea and is a converted building, comprising of 8 self-contained flats.
We were approached by the Freeholder of the building after receiving a personal recommendation from a long-standing Oakfield client. Following an initial meeting, the Freeholder was confident in our expertise and instructed us to take over the management of the building from another local agent. They were particularly keen to improve service levels, address outstanding issues, and ensure the building was managed more proactively going forward.
Whilst the building was generally in good condition when we took over management, several essential services had lapsed towards the end of the previous agent’s tenure. We acted quickly to bring these up to date, ensuring the building remained compliant and well-presented. In addition, we addressed a number of outstanding queries, providing thorough investigation and clear advice to the Freeholder.
Since taking over management, we have coordinated several key improvements, including repairs to badly damaged render on the entrance steps, essential drainage works, and the installation of a new landlord’s electrical supply. A great deal has been achieved in a short time, and these updates have already enhanced both the appearance and functionality of the building.
We look forward to continuing to manage the property and supporting both the Freeholder and the Leaseholders moving forward.
