Charlotte Diamond and Zoe White both from our Lettings Accounts team took on the ‘Walk 30 Miles in September Challenge’ to raise money for Cancer Research UK!
The challenge was to walk 30 miles each in September but between them they walked a huge 133 miles which was amazing!
Charlotte and Zoe achieved the challenge with lots of seafront walks after work, a walk round London, days out and then to finish some of our other team members from our Head Office joined the girls on their walk, enjoying a well-deserved, fish and chips on the beach.
Together they raised a whooping £590!
Charlotte said “My Grandad has recently been treated for cancer for which we received confirmation this week that the operation was successful so really wanted to give something back. The challenge has been amazing as it has got me out exercising, as a busy working mum I find it so hard around work and childcare and the thought raising money for a charity really motivated me to get out and moving!”
Zoe said “Cancer Research is a big charity in my family, unfortunately I know too many people that have had cancer or lost their battle including close family members so I want to do all I can to change this. I have done a lot of charity challenges for CRUK, I try to do at least one a year but this year I did one in February and then this one in September”.
We are so very proud of Charlotte and Zoe, charity is so important to us as a company and we love that our team members have worked so hard to raise money for such an incredible cause!!
