Our experienced Block Management team are situated on Castleham Industrial Estate in St Leonards on Sea, which is easy to get to and offers ample parking. Our centralised team look after blocks across Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas.

 

Block management

Our highly experienced team manager Rachel Harmer leads Oakfield’s Estate and Block Management department. She has worked  in the leasehold sector for more than a decade, and has the support of our financial director Samantha Hensher, who has been part of the Oakfield family since 2004. They work with three full-time, experienced property managers, two full-time assistant property managers and two accounts staff members, overseen by the team’s senior accounts administrator. Together, they cover the full spectrum of our clients’ needs, providing a comprehensive, hands-on and tailored service.

When it comes to management, we know it’s all about the service our customers receive, and our team consistently goes out of its way to look after our clients. We take pride in building long-lasting working relationships, something that’s in clear evidence across our whole managed portfolio, and which can be seen, for example, in the way each site is assigned a dedicated property manager. 

We know that leasehold management can throw up numerous challenges, and this team makes it its mission to solve every problem, communicate effectively and keep up with compliance and regulations across all areas of its work. The department enjoys regular training sessions which professional bodies within the industry provide, including the Institute of Residential Property Managers (IRPM) and Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA), which have now merged to form The Property Institute (TPI).  This makes us one of the very best teams in the business, demonstrating the extent and depth of our knowledge and experience, plus our genuine desire to uphold and exceed professional standards at all times.
