What? Bexhill Continental two day Street Market

Where? Devonshire Road. Bexhill on Sea

When? Saturday 14th – Sunday 15th September 2019

The Continental Street Market! Devonshire Road is closed to traffic for two days, for this twice yearly market. Filled with stalls selling hot food, deli, fresh baked bread almost anything, with a continental atmosphere for the two days, plus a small display of Classic Cars from Bexhill100MC.

 

What? Tots Play Baby Development Course

Where? All Saints Church Hall, All Saints Lane, Sidley, Bexhill

Sussex Concert Orchestra presents Baroque in the Afternoon: Bach Brandenburg Concerto no 2, Cantata no 118, Handel Organ Concerto (the Cuckoo and the Nightingale) and Boyce Symphony no 1. Come, take in a lovely atmosphere, and enjoy your favourite classical music. Tickets are just £10.

 

What? The Story of Guitar Heroes

Where? The White Rock, White Rock, Hastings

Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Hank Marvin, Brian May and Slash are just some of the outstanding guitar heroes you will have chance to experience in one amazing show! This phenomenal live concert style 'rockumentry' is performed by the extraordinarily talented and renowned musician: Phil Walker, and his exceptional band. With over 20 guitars used on stage, the show accurately recreates the sound and ambience of each guitar hero. Compounded in a creative and powerful experience this show not only appeals to all those budding guitar heroes out there, but to music lovers of all ages.

 

What? Walk Together 2019

Where? Starting at St Bedes school, Eastbourne

When? Saturday 14th September 2019

Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity – Walk Together 2019. Raising funds for under 5s with cerebral palsy and other motor learning impairments. There will be two distances to choose from – 35km or 15km. This year's walk is a circular route starting and finishing at Bedes School in Eastbourne. Walkers on both routes will journey through some of the most beautiful scenery and iconic landmarks to be found across the South Downs including Beachy Head, Birling Gap, The Seven Sisters and Cuckmere Valley.

 

What? Hastings Jobs and Apprenticeship Fair

Where? East Sussex College Hastings Campus, Station Approach, Hastings

The annual jobs and apprenticeship fair with local companies offering part time, full time vacancies along with training and apprenticeship opportunities. Interactive hubs include #letsgotowork and #interviewready to help you get set for those all important interviews. Pitman Hub is also available to come and refresh your keyboard skills along with word, publisher, excel and powerpoint programmes. What? Healthy Living Fair

An event with local companies and organisations offering help and advice on living a healthy lifestyle and learning how to relax – Fit Body, Healthy Mind and Positive Spirit. What? Y Front Run Hastings

Where? Alexandra Park, St Helens Road, Hastings

The 7th Annual Male Only 5k and 10k run, walk or jog to raise awareness of male cancers and fundraise for both local and national charities – St Michael's Hospice, Prostate Cancer UK and Cancer Research UK. Come and be one of our superheroes and dress up as your favourite one and help us beat cancer. Do it as an individual or as a team – medals for all finishers with trophies for the fastest Adult 5k, Adult 10k and under 18's both 5k and 10k.
