What? An Evening of Festive Jazz

What? The Lost Toys’ Big Christmas Adventure!

Where? The Royal Hippodrome, Eastbourne

When? Tuesday 17th December and Wednesday 18th December 2019

Everyone’s invited to the magical world of “The Lost Toys’ Big Christmas Adventure!” a brand-new family musical with incredible live music from Tony award-winning composer, Sarah Travis. Find out as you enter a magical world that comes to life around you. Smell the forest, feel the wind in your hair, hear the sea crashing below the cliffs…but watch out for those pesky seagulls! “The Lost Toys’ Big Christmas Adventure” is guaranteed to leave you with a smile on your face, hope in your heart and some very catchy songs in your head!


What? Christmas Carol Evening

Where? Outside The Parish Office, The Triangle, Lower Willingdon, East Sussex

When? 12th December 2019

Come down to see the Father Christmas procession to his grotto at the Parish Office as he gives out free presents to children. Kingfisher Scout Band will put on a display followed by Christmas Carol singing with Wealden Brass. There are also stalls selling homemade gifts! Great family event, wrap up warm and bring your torches!


What? Christmas Festival Concert

Where? Town Hall, Fisher Street, Lewes

When? Friday 20th December 2019

The Lewes Concert Orchestra, together with the Choir Schola Cantorum of St. Pancras Church, Lewes, will give a Christmas Festival concert at 7:30pm on Friday 20 December 2019.

The orchestra will play Holst – Moorside Suite, Mahler – Ruckert Lieder (soloist Rebecca Leggett), Dvorak – Symphony No. 8, Britten – Simple Symphony together with carols and seasonal music.


What? Gifted: Christmas Fair

Where? Hastings Arts Forum, 36 Marina, St Leonard’s on Sea

When? Wednesday 11th to Sunday 15th and Tuesday 17th to Saturday 21st December 2019

Stuck for Christmas gifts? Hastings Arts Forum's annual Christmas Fair will have a unique range of high quality gifts and art works, to include jewellery,glass, metalware, hats, fashion, artworks, ceramics and local produce! Open 11am – 5pm Tuesdays till Sundays.


What? Bateman’s – ’Just So Animals’ winter garden trail

Where? Bateman’s, Bateman’s Lane, Burwash, East Sussex

When? Sunday 1st December 2019 to Sunday 5th January 2020

Get out and about in the garden at Bateman's and discover the hiding places of their 'Just So Animals'. Jungle animals will be making an appearance in the garden this winter. Follow the trail to find them and receive a prize at the end! A perfect wintery event for the little ones to get out and about and keep busy.


What? Christmas At Drusillas

Meet Santa in his magical Santa's Grotto at Drusillas Park. Children can visit Santa in his cosy Christmas Grotto and receive an early Christmas gift! Soak up the festive atmosphere, sip your mulled wine and tuck into a yummy mince pie while you're watching the Giant Christmas Tree twinkling in time to music. Let it fill you with Christmas cheer. There will also be the opportunity to come face-to-face with Huskies as they meet and greet visitors in the Ice Cave; you’d be barking mad to miss it!
