On Saturday 3rd December Oakfield held our annual Awards presentation and Christmas party evening at Leeford Place Hotel in Battle. This year we also celebrated 20 years of Oakfield the evening was an exclusive Black tie event with all staff attending along with guests to celebrate the milestone event for Oakfield.
The evening commenced with a video showing the 20 years of Oakfield, we then moved onto the awards presentation and a presentation for Neil and Steve to congratulate them on their achievements over the 20 years. With the presentation all over we had live music from local band the cavaliers, who wasted no time getting everyone up on the dancefloor, as well as casino tables which we a lot of fun!
A great evening was had by all, well done to our award winners who were as follows;
Customer Service Award – Charlotte Wilkinson, Negotiator
This year’s award winner, Charlotte a Negotiator in our Bexhill branch has received 72 positive reviews this year and is ranked 290 out of 34,000 agents in the UK. Her clients describe her as ‘friendly, efficient and easy to deal with’, ‘Outstanding in manner & professionalism’ and ‘friendly & courteous at all times’.
Employee of the Year – Hannah Stanbridge, Branch Manager
Hannah, Branch Manager in our Hastings branch, one of our longest standing members of staff was this year’s Employee of the Year. Hannah is always willing to go above and beyond in the role she does, she is approachable, reliable and shows outstanding commitment a very worthy winner of this award.
Negotiator of the Year – Richard Snatt, Sales Manager
This award is given to the member of staff whom has shown overall performance and progression in their role as a Negotiator. Richard joined Oakfield in 2010 in our Bexhill branch and 2016 has seen him list 89 properties for sale a 35% increase on last year. Richard will step into the role of Branch Manager in our Eastbourne branch from January 2017.
Apprentice of the Year – Lucy White
This is a new award for 2016 to recognise the excellent work carried out by the Apprentices within our company. Lucy has proven herself to be a huge asset to the team and really has gone above and beyond her role, she has been registering applicants, is carrying out viewings and letting properties. Whatever is asked of her she is more than happy to help and gets on and does it, she really does have a very bright future at Oakfield.
Property Manager of the Year – Rachel Evans, Senior Block Manager
This is another new award for 2016 and one to acknowledge the excellent work carried out by both our in Branch Property Managers and our Block Management team. Rachel joined Oakfield in 2013 as an accounts administrator for our Block Management portfolio, in 2015 she stepped into the role of Senior Block Manager heads up our Block Management department.
Branch of the Year – Bexhill
This is always a tough decision, this year the decision was made on the growth of the branch and the commitment that the staff within said branch show to Oakfield. Since its opening in 2010 the Bexhill branch has established it’s self well and is one of the towns leading agents. The team in the branch are extremely motivated and dedicated to being the best they can be.
