Airbourne takes over Eastbourne this weekend! The weekend is a certainly a favourite amongst the residents of the town and people travel from miles to attend the weekend and see the air show.
We have the full low down of what films are being shown, the flying schedule for the weekend and when the firework finale will take place.
Thursday
The aircraft take to the skies at 2pm on Thursday with the Tigers Parachute Display Team kicking off the weekends festivities. There is a packed schedule through to 4:30pm which can be found here.
Also, on Thursday there is an open-air screening of ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ which starts at 4:45 at the wish tower beach.
Friday
The Red Arrows will make their first appearance of the weekend on Friday at 3pm. For Friday’s full schedule click here.
Boss Baby is the film of the day on Friday and will be shown at 5pm. Also, be sure to check out RUBIX-80’s who will be providing evening entertainment at the Bandstand from 8pm onwards.
Saturday
An action-packed day kicks off at 12:45 with the Tigers Parachute Display Team opening the air show, the red arrows display is at 4pm and the final event of the day is at 4:36 which comes from the Typhoon FGR4. The full schedule can be found here.
Evening entertainment at the Bandstand is ABBA Magic, an ABBA Tribute band which starts at 8pm and Airbourne bring ‘Paddington 2’ to the big screen.
Sunday
The last day of the festivities commences with a 12:30 display from the Red Arrows! The full flying schedule for Sunday can be found here.
Sunday see’s ‘The Greatest Showman’ brought to the big screen on the Wishtower screen at 4:35! Get there early to get a spot we’re sure it will be a busy one.
The weekend is brought to a close with a 10pm Firework display from The Wish Tower Beach.
