Oakfield can take over the management of your property from whatever date you ask us to, there is no need to wait for your new financial year and you do not need to give us any notice to take over management.

Our terms of business contain a list of all the information we need in order to manage your property, the list can seem daunting as there is a lot of required information, however not everything will be applicable to every property so we will liaise with you to determine what is applicable.

We will work closely with the residents to ensure a smooth handover whether it be from a resident self-manager or your current managing agents. If you do currently have a managing agents, then Oakfield will liaise with them to obtain all the information we need regarding the management of the property. If you self-manage then we will arrange to come and meet with you to go through the paperwork and handover to ourselves all the necessary information.

Once we have a confirmed date of handover we will write to all the residents to advise them Oakfield have been appointed as the new managing agents, confirming the date we will take over management. The initial letter will provide all of the contact details for Oakfield along with information on how to report any maintenance issues and what to do in the event of an emergency.
