Oakfield Career Progression Path – Staff Support
An Apprentice Administrator will join the company with no experience either as an administrator or the lettings industry. The role will include creating property particulars, ensuring the branch window displays are up to date, dealing with incoming post, ensuring the branch diary is efficiently organised and taking calls to register applicants for both sales and lettings. In addition to your responsibilities within the branch you will also complete your Business Administration Level 3 qualification supported by the college with regular visits from your Tutor.
Salary £14,000 – £16,000
A Branch Administrator will ensure the office is well organised they will confirm all of the appointments each day in the branch diary, assist the lettings team with the referencing of applicants, as well as working closely with the Apprentice Administrator to ensure all properties are marketed correctly. We would also expect a Branch Administrator to achieve their Level 3 Technical Award in either Residential Lettings and Property Management or Residential Sales.
Senior Branch Administrator
Salary £17,000 – £20,000
This is a role for an employee with at least 2 years experience in administration and hold either a Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management or Residential Sales. The role will be similar to that of a Branch Administrator however you will work closely with the Branch Manager / Partner assisting them in their role ensuring reports are prepared and the branch Sales and Lettings teams are fully supported.
Salary £16,000 – £18,000
This is a role for an employee starting out in accounts or who has limited experience. The role will include inputting the daily bank transactions, verifying files, preparing and serving of notices, arrears management, organising insurances for Landlord Clients, registering deposits and paying Landlords/Contractors. We would expect an Accounts Administrator to be studying for their Level 3 Technical Award in either Residential Lettings and Property Management.
Senior Accounts Administrator
Salary £18,000 – £20,000
This is a role for an employee with at least 12 months experience as an Accounts Administrator, the role is similar to that of an Accounts Administrator in addition you would be expected to ensure that the department is working to their targets and that the Client bank account is reconciled on a weekly basis in line with ARLA Codes of Conduct. We would also expect a Senior Accounts Administrator to have their Level 3 Technical Award in either Residential Lettings.
Property Management Administrator
Salary £16,000 + targeted bonus
This is an entry level role for an employee joining the company with no experience as a property manager. Within the role they will be supported by the senior members of the team to learn the job and about the lettings industry. A Property Management Administrator role would include issuing works orders to contractors, ensuring these are booked in and works undertaken in a timely manner, liaising with Landlords to get approval for works, ensuring all required documentation for properties is in place ie, LGSC, EPC, Selective Licence, EICR etc. We would expect an employee to be an Administrator for at least 12 months before becoming a Trainee Property Manager.
Trainee Property Manager
Salary £16,000 – £17,000 + targeted bonus
As a Trainee Property Manager you will organise and carry out mid term inspections of properties managed by Oakfield, following the inspection you will liaise with Landlords and Tenants to advise the outcome of the visit and organise any required works. You will work closely with the Administrators ensuring that all requests for works have been actioned and that contractors are carrying out works and to our standards. We would also expect a Trainee Property Manager to be studying for their Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management.
Salary £16,000 – £20,000 + targeted bonus
This is a role for an employee with at least 2 years experience in the industry they would have an excellent knowledge of the property management and the Legislation of the lettings industry as well as hold their Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management. A Property Manager would assist with the tasks carried out by the Trainee Property Manager and the Property Management Administrator. In addition to this they would carry out the end of tenancy deposit resolution process liaising with both Landlords and Tenants to agree any deductions ensuring all is dealt with in line with legislation and the timescales set.
Senior Property Manager
Salary £20,000 -£25,000 + targeted bonus
This role is for an employee who is well established within the industry, their knowledge of lettings legislation would be outstanding. A Senior Property Manager would be expected to oversee the department ensuring that all company procedures are being followed and the department is working to its full potential. As well as liaising closely with the Branch Manager / Partner maximising on profitable opportunities to ensure that the department targets are being met.
